Cuando publiqué esta foto, la situé como de estudio. Es una foto bastante conocida pero de la que no hay constancia ni de fecha ni de lugar. Alguien comentó que fue tomada por Kevin McCarthy durante su viaje a Italia.Puede ser, y en vez de un decorado de cartón piedra, Monty posara en alguna muralla o edificio monumental. La indumentaria de sahariana y gafas de sol le dan un aire turístico (aunque nunca me ha gustado el tono rojizo que tiene su pelo en esta foto). Si es así, estas fotos fueron tomadas entre febrero y marzo de 1950. He añadido dos fotos más (3ª y 4ª) que adquieren significado en el contexto de este viaje a Italia. Se ve que es la misma chaqueta y en la última foto se aprecian las ruinas de un monumento.
